Welcome to Rugby in Laos. Although rugby is in its infancy in Laos massive strides are being taken in growing the sport in schools and colleges throughout the country as a result of the work of a team of full-time Development Officers.

There are two senior men’s clubs and a senior women’s club, all based in the capital city Vientiane.

The men’s national team won their Asian 5 Nations regional tournament in 2009 and the women’s national team will compete in this year’s Asian Women’s Seven’s Championships in Thailand.
